The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences was founded in 1955. It is dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of television and the promotion of creative leadership for artistic, educational and technical achievements within the television industry.
NATAS recognizes excellence in television with the coveted Emmy® Award for News & Documentary, Sports, Daytime Entertainment, Daytime Creative Arts & Entertainment, Public & Community Service, Technology & Engineering, and Business & Financial Reporting.

The Traveling Trio is a 2011 Parents' Choice Silver Award winner.
The Parents' Choice Awards is the nation's oldest nonprofit program created to recognize quality children's media. The program honors the best material for children: books, toys, music and storytelling, magazines, software, videogames, television and websites. Parents' Choice Foundation's panels of educators, scientists, performing artists, librarians, parents and, yes, kids themselves, identify the very best products for children of different ages and backgrounds, and of varied skill and interest levels.

Some of the other winners include Lost, The Office, Jeopardy!, Monsters vs. Aliens, The Simpsons, Oprah Winfrey, The Electric Company, Diana Krall and Hannah Montana.
Judges include executives from MTV, NBC Universal, Time Warner, CBS, Comcast, Fox and Microsoft to name a few. |

The American Pixel Academy was founded by a coalition of professionals in the field of pixel media and connects them with educators to support our next generation of creative professionals.
In just a few years, the world of moving pixels has been magically transformed by highly innovative software and the people who create “pixel magic.” Ninety-two percent of all video productions now use Motion Graphics, Effects or Animation. The Pixie Award recognizes outstanding FX, motion graphics and animation in video productions.
Judging is done by top industry professionals, all of whom have won significant awards for their work.

The Aurora Award is an international competition that celebrates the ability of media creators around the world by recognizing their ability to captivate audiences through their creativity. Competitors come from the independent, corporate, and freelance production groups, advertising agencies, and broadcast stations.
The judging functions are performed by panels of working film and video professionals from major cities across the country. Programs are judged on a fixed scale in areas of creativity, message effectiveness and technical excellence.
Some of the winners from previous years include productions by National Geographic Channel, DreamWorks Animation, Discovery Networks, Walt Disney Pictures, Sony, The Military Channel and others.
